The photographs in the series RETRO REDUX are similar in content, style and form to photographs made in the earliest days of the medium. They are informed by the New Topographics shown at the George Eastman House in 1975. This exhibit revolutionized landscape art by making vernacular structures acceptable artistic subjects. This book includes 60 photographs presenting my approach to our built environment. These pictures, from all over the world, were made between 1974 and 2024.
