In the summer of 2008 an expedition of 40 people journeyed through the Ross Sea and into Antarctica to celebrate the centenary of the golden age of Antarctic exploration.



The huts of Shackleton and Scott left their marks but what was more unexpected was the profound impact on us of the water and light. This is a photographic exploration of our journey and a celebration of the unique waters of the Antarctic seas.
