In 2005 Harry Palmer was invited by a Piikani ceremonialist to visit his reserve to photograph Piikani people, their places and activities. As time went on the project expanded to include representation of Indian people and places of several tribes in southern Alberta and northern Montana.

Über den Autor
My work has been exhibited and collected internationally. I had the first solo exhibition at the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography when it opened by the Governor General in 1992. This work of the portraits of the Companions of the Order of Canada now rests in the National Gallery of Canada <http://cybermuse.gallery.ca/cybermuse/search/artist_work_e.jsp?iartistid=24472>. Legacy work in conventional photography was acquired in 1998 by the Library and Archives of Canada.
