Follow along with my "Mile Posts" of the back roads, historic towns and the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee from the Southeast corner at the Georgia State Line to the Northeast corner at the Virginia State Line. Navigate the chapters of your choice through the Smoky Mountains National Park, the Cherokee and Nantahala National Forests along rivers and gorges of East Tennessee. Also I have included our friendly neighboring state of North Carolina which has some great small towns easily accessible from East Tennessee.
