Über das Buch
STINK was written by Mark Durfee who is a life long resident of Detroit. He is a witness to the fall from the industrial capitol of America to it's complete fall.
This book is not a pretty picture, in fact it is a brutally honest view he has taken in his writing. Yet at the same time in the midst of the abandonment he has communicated that there is hope alive in the residents. He looks to the past glory, the present callousness, and the future that is possible in this collection.
Durfee has been published in various literary journals and has been at the craft of poetry for over forty years.
