Love Biscarrosse North West France August 2016 Book 2 of 2 The trip in 2016 started in Bordeaux in August, heading to Arcachon on the West Coast, spending a few days in each place.
I then headed to Dune Du Pilat, following the beach about 26 K to Biscarrosse as far as I could, until I came to a military range and could go no further.
I had my backpack with me and sleeping bag with me.
So I decided to spend my night under the stars. I was having problems finding accommodation on speck, without going back to Bordeaux. So spent the nights in the dunes,
Sleeping with the smell of pine from the forests behind me. And the sound and smells of the Atlantic in front. On long hot summer nights in my sleeping bag (Paradise in France) I spent one night in Biscarrose in a bar. A German guy got in to conversation with me. By the end of the night, he got banned from the bar, because he was spitting on the floor.
When it was time to leave, he wanted to hang around with me. but I felt vulnerable.
So I had to make excuses to get away from him. I headed to the beach making sure that he was not following me. And back tracked to my hiding sleeping place and belonging's.
The trip from start to finish was the greatest escape, and experience. In Arcachon, a group of Asian boys asked me to take their picture When I was minding my own business and tired after my trips. So I did.
