Before they take off on a journey they complete some research to learn about their destinations and to help determine where they will explore. Before retiring Ed was an economist and Tatia was a school principal — their backgrounds influence their curiosity. Ed and Tatia’s travel books are personal journals using photographs to tell about the destinations they visit — they have taken the pictures unless otherwise noted.
