Jeff Miller joined the US Navy when he was eighteen years old. After four years in the service, he went to work for Kroger Company for two years. Then in 1977 he went to work for a large electrical utility on the east coast. He spent twenty-five years as a Lineman and one year as Electrical Operations Manager. He retired at the age of fifty. He and his wife founded and ran a nonprofit organization that took groups on mission trips to Jamaica. He also has been a day trader and owns rental properties. He is a Gideon and gives his testimony in churches about what a difference one bible can make. He resides with his wife of twenty-six years in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
