Aloha! My name is Leialoha, I am the Owner and Creative Instructor at Hua ʻĀina. My team and I craft Hawaiian experiences in Hawaiʻi that are fun, educational, and can inspire change. Through our classes we have been able to bring to life and to the world a set of Hawaiian Language books from our students. Our books tell stories sure to teach some valuable lessons about Aloha (love, endearment, relationships), and so much more! The authors of each of our books have been through Hawaiian Language learning and built enough proficiency to write THEIR stories in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi. This set of stories written and inspired by each person's own lived experience in Hawaiʻi is truly a gift to the world and especially to the Hawaiian Language Community.
