Byron Keith Hill, Sr. was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Oakwood College (1972) and Andrews Theological Seminary (1976). Pastor Hill has pastored in the Lake Region Conference as associate pastor for one year (1972-1973). and continued pastoring in Lake Region while attending the seminary for six years (1973-1979). pastored and taught Bible at Rio Lindo Adventist Academy for seven years(1979-1986). pastored in Allegheny East Conference for fifteen years (1986-2001). and pastored in the Northern California Conference for Fourteen years (2001-2015). Pastor Hill's wife, Brenda, worked for seven years as a secretary in the Education Department at the Northern California Conference (2001-2008). The Hill's have one daughter and five sons and thirteen grandchildren. They currently live in Hazel Green, Alabama.
