Born in San Francisco, Beatrice has lived on both coasts, in the middle-east, and Hawaii. She lives in Austin, TX and holds both a BFA and MFA in painting, drawing, and printmaking. Having taught art for several decades to both children and adults, her attention has now turned more towards painting. Her work is in collections across the country.
