Russ was never one to stomach well the light and noise pollution of civilization. After decades of working as a psychologist, he retreats into the boreal forest of the north to enjoy all the solitude he can breathe in. It is blissful oblivion until he begins forgetting swaths of his past. To recover the stories that made up his case history, he decides to tell them to a wild dog. Opening this fold of his brain conjures up the apparition of a client from his past, an apparition that insists on his help in finishing what they began all those years ago. To do this, they’ll need to delve deep into the wilderness around them and within them without getting lost or tearing each other apart.
