Retired 51-year broadcast veteran, journalist, and landscape artist. As a journalist, Jennings was honored with numerous national honors, including the Columbia DuPont Award, sometimes referred to as the broadcasting Pulitzer prize. As a radio programmer, stations he managed were honored numerous times by the National Association of Broadcasters for programming excellence. He and his wife Karen are life-long residents of the Pacific Northwest.
