This book chronicles the life of a German-Jewish family and that of their relatives in Breslau (now Wroclaw) from 1870 - 1963. It includes personal letters, historical documents and photographs which illustrate, first-hand, the difficult life they led prior to the war, their escape from Nazi Germany, their life in England as “aliens” during the war and their post-war life in England and Canada.
