Whenever I've been in Istanbul, I left it with sadness in my heart. I've always been fascinated by its ancient flavour, its frenetic life, its people, by mixture of old and modern; I love getting lost in and discover the corners of one of the most beautiful city over the world, rich of history and culture, capital of three Empires: Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, which left important witness in architecture and arts. Nowasday rundown buildings and luxury palaces stand near each other giving a mixture of styles that are unmatched anywhere in the World.
I know that all images you can see of Istanbul may show just few features of this wondeful City, however I hope that photographs proposed in this book may contribute to raise wishing for travelling to Istanbul for living an exciting adventure in discovering the most hidden places of the City, getting breath its unique and unexpected atmophere.
