Über das Buch
The peony is a traditional floral symbol of China, and the state flower of Indiana. In Christian symbolism, the peony flower represented wealth, feminine beauty,
and healing power.
It is also my favourite flower, a blooming I look forward to every year, and this book is my tribute to the lush, romantic Queen of Spring.
Since flowers are central to my work as an artist, this book will also be the first of a series of flower portraits. All of these portraits are available as limited edition prints prints on my website.
I hope you enjoy it.
