Über das Buch
Verses' fourth issue ''Nightlight'' dives into the places, people, and objects that make you feel safe and at peace, asking: "Where do you feel most at home? What does this look like?" This issue features over 35 stunning submissions from all around the globe, including over 112 artworks and 16 gorgeous written pieces. To top that off, we’ve got 4 exclusive interviews with photographer Zachary Francois, artist Ema Gaspar, musician Indigo De Souza, and artist Momo Gordon—each feature takes a look at their work through a sentimental lens, revealing how the concept of “home” manifests itself into their art. Features cover art by Derek Abella and countless submissions that push the boundaries of their medium. Each magazine comes with a beautiful sticker sheet (including 7 high-quality stickers) and one newly-designed vinyl sticker!

Verses Magazine is a creative print project that considers creative vocabulary and intentional curation in our magazine and zines. Each issue takes a single word or phrase and explores it with a curious sensibility. Past projects include Ghost, Piece of Cake, Looking Glass, Nightlight, and Garden. Ultimately, Verses hopes to showcase experimental work from people of diverse backgrounds, promoting the power of art and words in tangible form. Submissions are open to people of all ages, locations, and experiences—we strive to foster a place for emerging and experienced artists where creative exploration is celebrated.
