This semester's photojournalism course started out like many others in the past at Anglo-American University in Prague. Little did any of us know that the world would be locked down as the COVID-19 crisis began to unfold. As a result, most students were sent back to their homes around the world.

Little did we know that this unfortunate event would lend itself to a unique opportunity for students to document what life was like during this time from so many different perspectives.

This extraordinary collection of images from AAU students documents the coronavirus pandemic from all corners of the globe: North America, Europe and Asia.
