In 2018-2019, Claire spent a year on three different Greek islands. In Syros, she found herself on a cat rescue shelter, in Amorgos, at a veterinarian clinic, and in Santorini, in the home of a Greek-Canadian resident in need of a cat- and house-sitter for the winter.
