For years I have noticed these STOP mosaics at the ends of alleys in Oak Park, Illinois. I don’t know the history of them, but have been fascinated by them for years. The thought that it was a form of communication as well as a form of urban art. I like the black and white, texture and the thought of what goes on in alleys.
