Susan has hiked the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, Continental Divide ,Tahoe Rim and Florida trails. She hiked the John Muir Trail twice in 2008 and 2011 and the Arizona Trail in 2016 She is an avid backpacker having backpacked in all of the Sierra Nevada Wilderness areas. She sails 1981 Cheoy Lee 35 foot in South Pacific side of Mexico . She has three sons and seven grandchildren
