Born in New York to Brazilian parents in 1986. Lived in the U.S., Europe, Brazil, Grand Cayman, and now Nicaragua. Studied English, photojournalism, and Italian. Graduated from Boston University in 2009. Started teaching reading and photography to youth in Solentiname, Nicaragua.
