I was born and raised in the small town of Simpson, Pennsylvania with my parents and my two
sisters. I got started in photography when I would take my father’s Konica 5050 film camera
with a 50 mm lens. I loved taking pictures of the beach and outdoors.
My son got into playing hockey in the Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre area. I purchased my first Digital
camera, a Nikon D90 with a Tamron 28-70 lens to capture my son and his teammates during
hockey games. I spent hours online and at my local photo store, Stroudsburg Foto, learning
how to take better photos.
Before I knew it, the cameras got bigger, the lens shot faster, and the memory card got larger.
I currently love shooting all different types of photography. I have photographed hockey,
soccer, lacrosse, and wrestling. I also enjoy taking images of the outdoors while hiking on the
many trails in Northeastern Pennsylvania. You will also find me with the Pocono Photo Club
capturing a shootout event or leading a workshop.
