Charlotte Semmes and Sean McAlindin live in Berkeley, California. Charlotte is an artist/designer who loves to paint "big" and work with fabrics. Sean is a writer/teacher who enjoys putting together words and photographs that provide insight into the subtleties of life.

They first met during their freshman year at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. When Sean left to study in Colorado, they didn't hear from each other until a chance meeting in Paris brought them together for a short, but poignant moment in time. Six years later they met again in Brooklyn, New York and watched the mist drift over Prospect Park from underneath a maple tree. Shortly thereafter Sean and Charlotte were on this spontaneous journey east to India, Nepal and Tibet, an unimaginable adventure of people and places that taught them what it means to be human in the world today.
