Since beginning photography in 1996 I have been fascinated with the human experience and energetic exchange between humans and their landscape. The epitome of this connection to me was found in ancient cultures and healing techniques found across our globe.

After obtaining a bachelor of science in geography, studying various ways of working with energy including reiki and shamanism, and working for the State of Oregon doing video production and multimedia, the combination progressed into an 8 month journey through Tanzania, Nepal, and Thailand doing a photography project called Sacred Faces Sacred Places.

Traveling through and living amongst these people, I was able to come back with a collection of work revolving around places throughout the world in which people find sanctity, practice religion, feel at peace, and are at one with their landscape.
