My interest in photography has been over sixty years, the last forty of them being involved with Sunderland Photographic Association. A member of RPS,a national judge, lecturer and international exhibitor for the past thirty years. Mono has always been my first love with special interest in infrared and lith so it is appropriate that my first book is black and white. I have now been fully digital for five years and although I miss the darkroom I appreciate the advantages of working digitally,it has certainly increased my output of colour work and the benefit of the many aids to manipulation.My photography has always been purely for enjoyment, the thrill of competition and achievement and not as a business and it has given me much happiness and many friends.
