Janet has had many life experiences. She is the mom of Merrigail Lee and Bart Wayne Stewart and the grandmother of Ashlee Madisyn and Brady Stewart Owen. She is married to the love of her life, Doyle, since 1966. She graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Southern College in 1985; the same year Bart graduated from high school. She earned a masters degree from The University of Georgia in 1992. She taught school for 22 years before retiring.
