I set up Urban Impressions as a route to self-publish a series of urban photo projects I have undertaken and to see them in printed form. They cover some common themes around journeys through the urban space and feature both London and Paris.

I am an urban photographer with more than 20 years of experience exploring the urban landscape primarily in London where I am based, but also in Paris where I have lived and return to often. A common theme is the idea of journeys and I tend to work on a project basis - selecting a specific focus or geographic area to explore. I am guided by the principle of the flaneur - just follow your observations and see where they end up.
