Born and raised in Germany, I came to America when I was only 17 years old. By the time I was 19, I was married and had a child. Thomas Todd. What a gift he was! Of course I was way too young and soon was very overwhelmed and swallowed the Valium the doctor prescribed. I came to a personal relationship with Christ just before Todd was diagnosed, kicked the Valium and that's when our story begins.

Since then we also lost our son John and most recently, my husband. God has blessed me with a wonderful daughter and granddaughter and a super son-in-law but mostly He blessed me with faith to walk with Him. It is my joy to help others who face the loss of loved ones through grief support and of course, through our story as told in this book.
