Gabriele Giorgi was born in Bologna (Italy) and is professor of Environmental Geology in the university of the same city. He was interested in photography since he was a boy, and has taken thousands of photos, having preference for the black and white in the beginning, converting then to the color both negative and positive.
Currently makes use of digital cameras.
