I grew up in the hills of Eastern Kentucky, born at a time when just a few folks had a black and white television. I lived in an old farm house on Coldwater Creek, nestled between the mountains with a small stream of water running thru the property. That home was a place that I always loved going back to. My mother sold the property when my Dad passed away, but I still drive by to see the homeplace. Life was hard in the 50's and 60's, but very, very full with love and family ties. I started writing on furniture with a stick pin, and have written my entire life when I felt something strong in my heart. I write about experiences and feelings, and get inspired about something when least expected. I wanted to share these writings with my family and friends, now that I'm older and retired. I hope in some way they bring a smile, or remind you of a wonderful time in your life. God Bless.
