David Schnuckel is an artist, writer, and educator who currently lives and works in Rochester, New York.
Schnuckel has earned degrees from Anderson University (BA in Fine Arts, 2003) and the Rochester Institute of Technology (MFA, 2010). His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, had warranted a nomination for the 2011 Tiffany Foundation Award, been a contender for the 2012 International Glass Prize, and belongs in several public and private collections. Schnuckel has lectured and taught all across the United States, as well as Japan, South Korea, Ireland, Scotland, and China. As a writer he maintains a blog that examines elements of his glass making and teaching practice entitled “David Schnuckel Uses His Words” and is a regular contributor to the newsletter of the Glass Art Society.
Currently, David Schnuckel is a Lecturer of Glass at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
