My niece came to visit and the conversation went something like this - "Tell me about your genealogy research". So I started and her eyes glazed over...

"No, Aunt Cindy, I want to know about the stories!" So I told her how her great-great-grandmother was the only child in her family that did not commit suicide or die in an accident. I told her how the 'baby' of my aunt never existed. I silently waited for her prompting, which I answered.

So, now I write stories of families. They may be research compilations that answer specific previous brick walls, or LORE ---- Lies Only Research Exposes. But they are NOT standard, boring genealogy books containing pedigree charts and descendant reports.

Family books have expanded to travel books. I sift through thousands of pictures and listen to stories about the trip to create a one-of-a-kind book about that trip for my family and friends.
