CLASS ACT CREATIVE is a publisher of contemporary art books for online and gallery sales (see GOING PLACES) and student art and poetry books for online and school sales. Owner Barbara Jean Hicks, a.k.a. Barbara Jean the Story Queen, is also the author of eight picture books for children, including the perennial favorite MONSTERS DON'T EAT BROCCOLI and the popular A SISTER MORE LIKE ME, commissioned by Disney Press as part of the FROZEN franchise. As a visiting author and author-in-residence in schools, Barbara talks to students about writing and the writing life and guides them through the writing process.
