Sharmila Meadows is the author behind The Writing Desk 27.

A freelance journalist and writer from London, England, she previously spent two decades as a (Senior) Policy Adviser to the UK Government in Westminster, where she also served as Private Secretary to several Government Ministers in the House of Lords.

As a journalist, her focus is cricket, faith and politics and her work has appeared in publications including Church Times, The Cricketer, The Cricket Society, County Cricket Matters, Premier Christianity, Bible Society and more.

As a writer, Sharmila has written for humanitarian, medical and Christian missional charities. She is the author of the Biblical Blog, The Mission Post, where her passion for writing and Christian mission chime.
