My name is Brendan De Lucia, and I write under the pseudonym Kale Sinclair. I am a self-published poet and author, and I live in Boston, Massachusetts, with my wife and three-year-old golden retriever, Ellie. My journey started at the age of fourteen with constructing complex rhyme schemes for rap lyrics and has unraveled into a diversified portfolio. Two decades later, I have grown my catalog of work into four published collections of poetry, fifteen short stories, and three novels. In 2017 I was honored as a featured poet for Page Publishing’s first poetry anthology. Two years later I hosted my first book signing event at a local Barnes and Noble for Grilled Cheese and Whiskey. My poem, PETALS, was chosen for publication in Eber & Wein Publishing’s latest poetry anthology, Figments Of The Heart, as well as being a semifinalist for Poetry Nation’s amateur poetry contest. I am also a 2024 recipient of a creative writers grant for poetry and fiction from the MA Cultural Council.
