Millfield Arts Projects showcases the interdisciplinary approach to the arts at Millfield school in Somerset.
Pupils are inspired to express their ideas through a diverse range of activities, workshops and lectures with Millfield's contemporary Atkinson Gallery providing a creative hub for a programme of exhibitions and events.
Established in 1992 as a space for pupils and the public, the Gallery has hosted artists of international acclaim as well as an annual MA & Other Postgraduates exhibition and an open Summer Show. Previous exhibitors at the gallery include Marc Quinn, Albert Irvin OBE, Gillian Ayres, Don McCullin, Dame Elisabeth Frink, Andy Warhol and Graham Crowley.
Millfied also holds a unique sculpture collection within its extensive parkland that features large scale permanent works from artists such as Lynn Chadwick CBE, Glynn Williams and Peter Randall-Page.

Previous MAP publications include 'Cross Currents' (2000), essays on contemporary art practice in South Africa, 'Natural Selection' (2009), representing street artists from New York, Tokyo and London, and 'In Flux' (2012), key works by fine art photographer Barry Cawston.
In 2011 MAP commissioned a limited edition silkscreen print, 'Dark Water' in collaboration with Graham Crowley and Spike Island Studios, Bristol.
