My life has been a rollercoaster of changes. Within that time I have managed to marry, have 2 children, graduate from college, spend 13 years in the military, and write this book. I tried to be as honest with my emotions as I could be. Raw emotions usually won over something imaginary. I tried to write this book so that anyone reading it could feel and understand the pain the same way that I did when I went through it. I sincerely hope you can take with you something positive (even though it derives from a place of pain). I am hopeful that we (as a collective people) can learn something from this work. Violence and cruelty solve nothing. It makes enemies of family members and strangers of loved ones.
