Fachgebiete

Jewish Artists Collective of Chicago (JACC) is a community of artists connected through common heritage and committed to sharing ideas, enriching practices, and creating dialogue with community. We are passionate about the importance of contemporary Jewish art and its role in deepening community. It is integral to our core mission to reach out and share the rich culture and meaning derived from our work with others. We do this through exhibitions, studio tours, and artist talks.

Berufsverbände und Organisationen

Jewish Artists Collective Chicago began in 2016 as an outgrowth of the inaugural Spertus Institute Midwest Artists Lab. We work in a range of media and styles, but are joined by a common mission of creating contemporary, engaging, and thoughtful work that reflects Jewish themes and values. Our work together and as individual artists has included group and solo museum exhibitions, artist talks and workshops, and educational programming for synagogues and other Jewish institutions.
