Bill Boxer (b.1941-) I have always been curious about the things we pass by without really seeing. Photography gives me a reason to stop, look more carefully, and discover what might otherwise go unnoticed.

Today, most of my photographs are made close to home using natural light and without staging. A dewdrop, a reflection in water, the texture of tree bark, or a small creature in the garden can become something unexpected when seen from a different perspective.

For me, photography is discovering something extraordinary in the ordinary.
