Alden Miranda is a filmmaker and illustrator, and the author of Portraits of the Pale. Born in Manhattan, New York, and raised in Flushing, Queens, Alden later relocated to St. Augustine, Florida, where he lives with his wife and three children.

He has a passion for creative filmmaking and enjoys working across the genres of horror, comedy, and fiction. Through his art and writing, Alden brings unsettling, imaginative characters to life, blending atmosphere, story, and haunting detail.
