Since youth Stephane Themeze always loved looking around, somewhat contemplating. Finding photography as a medium of expression just felt like the most natural extension.
He started in the streets of Paris, inspired by the works of humanist photographers like Edouard Boubat, Andre Kertesz focusing on everyday life in the street.
He is now engaged in what he calls "recording visual sensations". The eye is a sensuous organ which responds, when well-trained, to harmonious designs and forms revealed by the works of light.
