Bill Longnecker was born in the small town of McCook, Nebraska and was raised on a farm and ranch in Maywood and then Indianola, Nebraska. Bill was probably the last person you would expect to become a jewelry craftsmen, designer, artist and now author of short stories. Longnecker certainly didn't start out as a standout student with any literary goals.
