It was not fenced off, anyone could wander in and around the place. I thought

“we are tourist, what is this ‘oik’ on about, I’m damn well going”. The ‘oik’ pulled a revolver on me, (how about that in your life list)? That was my first photographic trip abroad, for some reason I still remember it!

Wildlife photography is a constant learning curve, we all have to learn, we all ask the same questions, we never stop learning. After being asked the same questions at various talks I have done over the years, I decided to list them all, add some 'golden keys' and put them into this four volume book.

The phrase "if it can go wrong it will go wrong" can be pretty painful for the wildlife photographer because if you do mess up, your subject rarely gives you a second chance. I have evolved through all these stages and gone through the 'pain' of learning for more than 50 years. Now you wont have to !
