This is the story of one man's mission to follow the coffee bean wherever it took him. The episodes in this book aim to share just some of the experiences and insights that he gained while on the road in his bid to reach the southern and western highlands of Ethiopia - just in time for the harvest of the red coffee cherry. Starting with the legend behind its discovery, it shines a light on the central role that coffee plays in Ethiopia and the challenges that smallholder farmers face as they struggle to fetch a fair price for one of the finest coffees in the world. All proceeds from the sale of this book go toward buying education materials for the Choche and Bulbulu School in Western Ethiopia.
