I've been painting full time since my retirement in 2005. I am a prolific painter who paints outside in all weathers, attempting to complete the work in a single session. (Using a blow torch to speed up the drying process of my watercolours in damp weather, and have set fire to my gloves on many occasions!) I paint almost exclusively on location, mainly in the West Country and from my studios in North Cornwall and Surrey.
