It should be mentioned that if you told me to read a book with a werewolf and vampires in it, I would roll my eyes. This is absolutely not a fan-fiction of anything. I have never read a book remotely like The Safehouse before, and neither have you! I love the ocean, hate chick flicks, and think the moon is amazingly awesome. When I wrote The Safehouse, I was a stay-at-home mother of four, and was astonished that I managed to write a novel. This story was a lot of fun for me, and I still love it! I like to read, but am very picky about my choices in literature: I don't touch romance novels, love happy endings, and think that reading material should be fun.
