Hey Friend!
My name is Shamika and I am a content creator and writer behind Shamika Shante' Blog. It feels strange referring to myself as a "writer" because I never considered myself one growing up. But as I got older, I started to find so much joy in writing in my journal, which led to the creation of my blog and journals. I gain so much happiness in creating content and writing with a heart of transparency. The purpose of my blog/journals is to inspire all people, in all walks of life through writing. I have a firm believer that writing heals. I am a graduate from the University of Iowa, where I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Sociology with a focus on family, health and well-being. With that knowledge and personal experiences, my goal is to always write from a loving place, while expressing the importance of both physical and mental health.
