Allan is a keen traveler who was inspired to write a book for his grandchildren following his trip to the Galapagos Islands in 2019 where he witnessed first hand its unique diversity of life. A finance industry adviser for over 40 years, Allan is based in Sydney Australia and travels abroad most years. In recent times he has also visited Iceland, Norway, The Faroe Islands, Lafoten Islands and the Himalayas. His other interests include Christian apologetics, sociology, crime fiction, hiking and playing Touch football where he still competes at State & National championships annually.
