Lindsay Arthur is a well-known lawyer who tried over 150 cases throughout the United States during his 46-year legal career. He is the author of three law books and several legal treatises. In 1974 he founded the Arthur, Chapman law firm, now one of the largest litigation firms in Minnesota, and in 1985 he founded BioTrol, a Minnesota biotechnology company engaged in genetic engineering. Eventually, he combined his interests in law and science by writing The Litigators, (Scarletta Press) which won a merit award for fiction in 2005. The Litigators is a legal thriller in which two powerful forces, a poisoned environment and a toxic legal system, intersect to create enormous challenges for real-world people. He is a graduate of Princeton University (1965) and the University of Minnesota Law School (1969).
